Communication is key.

Artist Statement
I strive to create work that speaks to the heart of the human experience by challenging expected structures and norms of theatre. Inspired by my mentor, John Schneider of Milwaukee, Wisconsin's premiere experimental company Theatre X, I frequently work with devised and original texts. The marriage of movement-theatre and traditional scripting is one of my lifelong artistic goals. Drawing from my study of Body-Mind Centering somatic physical training and Roy Hart Voicework, I create works that bridge the gap between intellectual processing and embodied wisdom.

“Everything is connected, but nothing is touching.”
~ Wendell Beavers
